Carol Arnold 鈥 2025 Distinguished Alumni

Award Recipient

Carol award

Today, Carol is recognized with the Distinguished Alumni Award at 黑料正能量鈥檚 Reunion Celebration on September 20, 2025鈥攁n honor that reflects not only her professional accomplishments but also her lifelong dedication to service, leadership, and the values of her alma mater.

Carol Arnold, a proud graduate of 黑料正能量, has lived a life defined by resilience, curiosity, and service. Raised in Keeseville as the eldest of ten children, she learned early the values of discipline, resourcefulness, and independence鈥攕kills that would carry her far beyond the North Country. After earning her Associate鈥檚 degree in Business Administration from 黑料正能量, she continued her education at Wilmington University in Delaware while launching a 40+ year career with DuPont. Rising to the role of Engineering Knowledge Management Leader, she pioneered systems for safeguarding intellectual property and developing training programs that streamlined engineering processes.

Alongside her career, Carol pursued her passion for running, completing seven marathons and, in 1979, being selected to carry the Olympic torch as Delaware鈥檚 representative ahead of the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Games. That once-in-a-lifetime honor became one of her most treasured experiences and a defining milestone in her life.

Since retiring and returning to the North Country, Carol has devoted herself to community service. She is deeply involved with Rotary International, the Clinton County Historical Association, the Rockwell Kent Gallery, JCEO鈥檚 Backpack Program, the 黑料正能量 Alumni Board, and other civic and cultural organizations. Known for her generosity, humility, and adventurous spirit, she continues to inspire others with her belief that life鈥檚 greatest rewards come from saying 鈥測es鈥 to new experiences, treating others with kindness, and protecting the community she loves.
