Traveling By Car:
From the EAST:
Cumberland Head Ferry Route:
Cumberland Head 鈥� Grand Isle Ferry (Operates Year-Round):
Visit for ferry schedules and directions.
After departing the ferry
- Follow Commodore Thomas Macdonough Highway.
- At the first traffic light (Cumberland Head Road), continue straight.
- At the second traffic light (Route 9, near Gus鈥� Red Hots), turn left onto Route 9.
- Follow signs for the hospital.
- At the next light, turn right onto Boynton Avenue.
- Drive approximately 0.75 miles and turn left onto Beekman Street.
- Continue past the hospital entrance and one traffic light.
- After crossing Court Street, you'll see the George Moore Building on your left at 46 Beekman Street.
Rouses Point Bridge Route:
- Take Highway 89 to Swanton, VT.
- Turn left onto Route 78 and follow signs through Alburgh.
- Turn right onto Route 2.
- After crossing the bridge, turn left onto Route 11.
- Follow signs to I-87 South, then follow the directions from the North below.
From the NORTH (I-87 South):
- Take I-87 South to Exit 37.
- Turn right at the traffic light onto Route 3 (Cornelia Street).
- Travel about 1 mile to the 鈥淵鈥� intersection with Broad Street.
- Bear left at the 鈥淵鈥� to stay on Cornelia Street.
- Continue straight through one traffic light (you鈥檒l pass the hospital entrance).
- At the next light, turn right onto Beekman Street.
- Continue past Court Street. You鈥檒l see the George Moore Building on your left at 46 Beekman Street.
From the SOUTH & WEST:
From Buffalo/Syracuse/Albany Area:
- Take I-90 East to Albany.
- Merge onto I-87 North and follow to Exit 37.
- Then follow the same directions as 鈥淔rom the North鈥� above.
From New York City Metro Area:
- Take I-87 North to Exit 37.
- Follow the same directions as above via Route 3 and Beekman Street.
From Canton/Potsdam Area:
- Take Route 11 East.
- In Ellenburg, turn right at the flashing yellow light onto NY-190.
- Follow NY-190 to NY-3 (Cornelia Street) in Plattsburgh.
- Turn left onto NY-3 and go approximately 2.5 miles to the 鈥淵鈥� with Broad Street.
- Bear left at the 鈥淵鈥� to stay on Cornelia Street.
- After one traffic light (past the hospital), turn right onto Beekman Street.
- Continue past Court Street. You鈥檒l see the George Moore Building at 46 Beekman Street.
